How many times have we all reached for the phone to call our moms about a question we had? A specific recipe, laundry issues, kid issues, homework questions, dating questions, female questions, or maybe we just needed some good motherly advice, the list could go on and on I am sure! This page is for us to bounce questions and ideas off of each other. One side will be for posting our moms favorite recipe's the other side will be for posting questions and ideas. Maybe we didn't get to ask her but together we can help each other with some of the many life issues we face from day to day. You can either email me at debbiegrady@missingmymom.com or click on "Let's Blog" and submit via the blog. Your entry will be posted to this page as soon as possible. Enjoy!

When money got really tough, her recipes would get creative. We had something she called Campfire Stew. It was 1 lb of browned ground meat, 1 large can of tomato soup, 2 large cans of alpabet vegetable soup and Voila! It fed all 7 of us!! Submitted by Karen Brown-Fleck

Great Mom "Sayings" My mom always lived by the Salad Tea Tag Line that read "Worry is interest paid on trouble before it is due!". Submitted by Karen Brown-Fleck If something shocked my mom she would say, "We'll I'll just be!" :-) Submitted by Debbie Grady
My mom was born in Indiana, however, most of her formative years were spent in West Virginia. She had some strange sayings. When I asked her what time it was she would kid, "Time all dogs was dead; don't you feel sick." I have no idea what that means. Submitted by Pam Grady
